Working at Heights

This course equips participants with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to work safely at heights and minimise the risk of fall-related incidents.

⚡ Difference between fall arrest and fall restraint systems
⚡ Proper harness use, inspection, and maintenance
⚡ Identifying risks and applying safe work positioning techniques
⚡ Safe use of anchor points, ladders, and scaffolds
⚡ Basic emergency response including CPR and AED use

Overview:
The Working at Heights training is designed for personnel performing tasks where fall hazards exist. It covers hazard recognition, equipment handling, and safe work practices to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. Participants will practice using harness systems, fall protection measures, and rescue planning to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

Training Objectives:
⚡ Provide awareness of risks, responsibilities, and legal obligations when working at height.
⚡ Train participants in the correct selection, usage, and maintenance of fall protection equipment.
⚡ Build skills to assess risks and implement controls such as scaffolding, edge protection, and fall arrest systems.
⚡ Prepare workers to respond effectively to emergencies, including rescue procedures at height.
